Happy Monday, Ladies! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Ours was a bit crazy traveling back and forth to North Dakota, but it is what you do for family weddings :) Today's outfit is all about my favorite flannel I purchased a few months ago. If you have not heard about Rails LA by now, they make the BEST flannels out there. It took me months to make the leap because they are on the pricey side, but I am all about them now and can't wait to purchase more. I am obsessed. The soft material and colors are worth the splurge!

My other favorite thing are these skirts from J. Crew Factory. I own this same skirt in 3 colors. So easy to wear to work or any occasion you want to wear a comfy skirt!

And y'all...it's BOOT season! Amen.

3 Day Refresh...the Reset I needed

Whooooaaa, I am writing on my blog! It has been awhile. Honestly, it just hasn't been a main priority for me. You know when you feel like you are spinning plates and you are just trying not to drop one? That has been me lately. I am not complaining...I am doing things I love! I am just needing systems in place...BUT that is another blog for another day!

Today I want to share my 3 Day Refresh results! What is the 3 Day Refresh? Well, it is a cleanse that helps you come back to center. It helps you refocus your body away from sugar and carb cravings, helps to de-bloat, and just gives you a quick reset. I did it the last 3 days because I was pretty off-track (oops! but it happens) and I am starting the 21 Day Fix Extreme today. I felt like a good reset was what I needed before diving into this more intense program!

So how does it work? Well...you get to eat! That is what I was most excited about. I had tried other cleanses that asked me to drink juice all day and I just COULDN'T. It just wasn't for me. This however looked like something I could handle. Here is what a typical day looked like:

First thing: H20

Breakfast: Vegan Shakeology with Banana

Green tea

Mid morning- Fiber Sweep

Lunch: Fruit and Veggies + a nutritious protein shake

Green tea

Mid  afternoon- veggies and avocado

Dinner: Veggies, Vegetable Broth + nutritious protein shake

(See, it isn't bad for 3 Days!)

What are my results?

Well, I feel a lot less bloated. I also am noticing a decrease in my sugar and carb cravings (those beastly suckers!). 

I lost 5.6 pounds of bloat, water weight, and bad decisions :) and I lost a quarter of an inch off my hips! Drastic? No. But y'all--it is 3 Days! If anything tells you that you can get ripped in 3 days...RUN away from that deal. Real changes take hard work, consistency, and discipline. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise! 

I gained some confidence heading into my new program and starting with a refreshed body!

CIZE...The End of Exercize!

I have been getting a ton of questions on WHERE and WHEN people can purchase CIZE!!!!  I know everyone is so excited but I'm even more excited to tell you that Beachbody's newest fitness program CIZE launched TODAY!!  Before you stop reading this blog post because you feel like Cize wouldn't be your cup of tea read the rest of this!  It doesn't matter if you can't dance and every single muscle in your body tells you so. I have to say that this workout is an instant mood booster, it is meant for people who want to workout but don't want to feel like they are working out!  It's a fun workout that is broken down into steps for the "dancer" at any level.  It's not about the crazy push ups and diamond jumps... its about focusing on the beat and getting into the moves.  The beat moves you to the results that you want.

The workouts range from 35-40 minutes in length and the program is 4 weeks long but you can definitely extend it as you are learning the moves.  Cize is choreographed to the latest pop music that Shaun T has picked out.



The nutrition plan is easy to follow and it uses the portion controlled container system to help you with nailing the portion sizes! It takes all the guess work, calorie counting, and macro counting OUT! If it is on the list and it fits in the container- you can eat it! Plus, the new Fixate cookbook also released so you can get 101 new recipes with container equivalents!
